Encorp executive chairman and group chief executive officer Senator Datuk Seri Effendi Norwawi said the award represents the hard work and commitment that have gone into the group's flagship development.

Effendi received the award on behalf of the company at the high-profile presentation ceremony at Longemont Hotel in Shanghai, China, on Tuesday.
Encorp Strand was previously a winner of the inaugural The Edge-PEPS Value Creation Award 2010, an accolade for properties with the greatest value creation in terms of capital appreciation as well as sustaining value.

just like any other successful malls/boulevards or shop lots they have to be properly planned and managed always with the aim of how to keep the flow of customers perrenially coming to the Strand each time they think of food, clothing, entertainments,relaxation and shopping etc. A sure way of success is to emulate what others successful malls are doing, like that of One Utama,etc. Just an observation, I think the floor of the Boulevard shud be tiled tp be more presentable. Concerned investor.

ReplyDeleteWhen I step into the Red carpet Boulevard,my personal opinion is that the artificial white trees are too huge and they seem to block the view & beauty of the tenants' outfits which they spend so much money to put up. The idea of lining the boulevard is good may be real plants & not so gigantic. Hv being to and seen many local & overseas boulevards, notice that the shops' facades are always visible and very attrative and are the assets of the tenants. I think this is very important, firstly, it advertises the products, secondly attract customers and lastly it defiantely add grandeur to the place. May be Encorp should look into this. No point building a beautiful house and has huge tress blocking it. All is lost.
ReplyDeletehello there. Personally, I felt that depends on the orientation and the arrangement of the trees and of course the proper species selection for planting. Many chose to avoid planting huge trees due to many liabilities (failure of the tree) in the future. Therefore, it is important to think properly before you plant taking in account the future development in the area, the size of the plot, as well as the microclimate and type of soil. But, a well-maintained and matured trees able to increase the property value by 15% or more. Besides, trees also can abate urban noises as effectively as stone walls. It is pretty much depends on how you view it. It can also be a win-win situation.
